A Streamlined & Updated Website Design
Alamo Architects is a San Antonio architecture firm that prides itself on listening and collaboration. They are also known for their unique designs and ability to create community spaces that leave an impression. Our goal for this website redesign was to create an engaging, eye-catching look to properly show off their work and capabilities. The new Alamo Architects site utilizes new branding, custom video headers, and a layout that is user-friendly for both visitors and staff.
Branding
Alamo Architects came to us with new branding to incorporate into the redesign. This included a logo, coloring, fonts, and preset usage of their name and overall branding. With that in mind, we needed to make sure the new website’s look and feel complimented their unique brand identity. By incorporating two logos, modern colors, and updated fonts, our team made sure that our website redesign aligned with the organization’s brand and vision while making them stand out as an architectural firm. We also had to make sure that responsive displays followed the same rules without changing the content and design flow when a user moved from desktop to mobile.
Impactful Headers
One special request from Alamo Architects was updated headers that could feature photos, and especially videos, of their work. With this input we designed sliders for the homepage to ensure that different buildings could easily be featured in a dynamic, eye-catching way. These video headers will help grab the attention of visitors, get them curious to learn more about Alamo Architects’ work, and help increase traffic to their project pages.
User-Friendly
A user-friendly interface is key to any successful website. So for Alamo Architects we categorized and organized their content, making things easier to find than on their previous site. We also updated the website to include new projects that hadn’t been on the old website, keeping their page up to date and giving returning visitors new content to explore. Buttons have been colored to stand out along with call-to-actions. We made sure the headers and navigation are always available to users as well. With a firm that offers so much through their capabilities and team, their diverse user base can now enjoy the ability to decide their own journey through the site.
