Helping 1836 PM Come Back Better Than Ever
1836PM is a Property Management company that serves the Austin area. Their company is committed to helping local tenants and realtors create revenue through investment properties, creating financial freedom.
Matt Leschber initially brought the company’s site after previous web host was compromised. After moving them to a new and secure server, we moved into a rebuild to better convey their services to any existing and new clients.
We also focused greatly on improving the site’s search engine optimization. Through working with meta descriptions and keyword research they now sit at almost perfect website health and receive quarterly reports and suggestions from our specialists on what can be improved.
The previous 1836PM website suffered from a menu that was hard to use due to a vertical design that was bloated. The menu and design also lacked color to draw the eye to calls to action. Our designer took the time to get to know their brand, color options, and accented them to give a wider range of display options for buttons and menu items.
We then worked with Kayla from the 1836PM team to gain content as needed and worked to reorganize the menu listing to make more sense for users. We also had to take into account a new user type the 1836 was starting to work with via new menu items. Once we had all the pages accounted for a new menu fell into place and the main call to action was placed throughout the site.
Mobile was the next large hurdle since the pages on the website can run rather long with written information, graphs, and resources. Our designer took all over this into consideration and created a color-blocked design that keeps users scrolling to see what comes next and pushes users to keep clicking or navigating.
