WellAware had a well-organized site with navigation that didn’t need much changing. However, their design and layouts were outdated and becoming hard to maintain. Our job was to clean up the site, give it a new layout and interface and simplify the experience for users. Not only that, they needed to add new, never seen before content to the site.
One of the main concerns for the managers of the site is ownership. We decided to build the WellAware site on WordPress to better help the content creators of the company. This would make changes easy and simplify adding images to the site. As an oil industry website, it was important to highlight the company’s capabilities and services with images and simplify the messages.
Once the site was finished it was a complete turn around from the previous site. They wanted to able to show off services at conferences and bring in new clients. They also wanted to give pointers to the industry experts in need. The staff needed the ability to show off the brand along with their ties to the community.
We are now in the process of helping WellAware process their analytics and demographics. This will help them spend their marketing dollars more effectively. We currently maintain the site with monthly updates to the WordPress platform, their plugins, and the design.
